Our roof cost calculator and articles provide estimates and general information only. An estimate is not a quote, an offer, or a guarantee of price.

Our figures are compiled from published industry cost data, manufacturer pricing, and permit fee schedules, and are adjusted for factors such as state labour costs, roof pitch, and material. Actual prices vary with access, decking condition, local demand, and details that no calculator can observe. A quote from a licensed contractor who has physically inspected your roof will always be more accurate.

We make every effort to keep our data current and correct, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, or up to date. All content is subject to change without notice.

3. No Professional Advice

We are not roofing contractors, insurance adjusters, or licensed trade, legal, or financial professionals. Nothing on the Services constitutes professional, legal, financial, or insurance advice, and no relationship of that kind is created by your use of the Services.

For questions about your insurance policy or a claim, consult your insurer, your policy documents, or a licensed public adjuster in your state. For work on your property, consult a licensed contractor. Any reliance you place on our content is at your own risk.

4. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all text, displays, images, graphics, data, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof, are owned by tallysquare or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

If you submit a request through a quote partner, your dealings are with that partner and any contractor they connect you with, not with us. Please review their terms and policies before engaging.
